In other news, I’ve harvested most of the potatoes I planted earlier this year. Only one plant hasn’t died yet, so waiting and hoping that the taters get larger. My strawberry plants’ leaves keep dying and I’m not sure why. I’m ot a very good gardener, more of an enthusiastic amateur.

Do “autism-like symptoms” include being introverted?? Is that a symptom to be cured now?? Even assuming the study is real, what the hell do mice with “autism-like symptoms” look like? Are these mice not making eye contact? Are these mice adverse to specific textures?

Some folks I know are organizing a charity auction. I felt like I should donate something; it’s for a good cause. So I went through my fabric stash and box of patterns, and decided to donate a tie and some stuffed animals.

So now I need to sew a tie and some stuffed animals. I’ve cut out the tie pieces already (ties are super easy, it turns out!) but I’m still working through the many tiny pieces I need to make a godzilla stuffy.

The good news is that this has given me the motivation to actually start on the godzilla stuffy project. I’ve promised a godzilla stuffy to my kid for christmas (so am making at least two), but I’ve just been procrastinating starting because that’s months away.

On the topic of succulents, my office aloe is sprouting a pup (child plants) again. I’ll wait for a few more to sprout up before I dig them up and repot them. The last batch of aloes were very popular with my coworkers.

Unironically why I embraced activism. Will I create meaningful change to this hellish timeline? No. However, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t try.
