We beat back the politicians! Meanwhile Paul still does not trust me unless Mallow is around. And I can’t get the picture of Paul to load so here’s Hazel.
This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.
My calico cat is screaming downstairs because how dare I enjoy breakfast in bed while she’s at the top of her cat tree needing pets. She’s also almost 20 years old and looks looks she’s 10. The Vet complimented her and showed her off to the entire office “can you believe this cat is almost 20?!”
Of course, my cat LOVED the attention. Until it was time for shots 🤣
Took a day off work to recover from yesterday. Good news: according to my coworkers at the polling place, I did well and we got out of there in a decent amount of time last night. I hope it reflects well in that paycheck I’m getting in three to seven weeks.
So now I’m just relaxing and playing switch, in between attempting to call a business about them sending me the wrong order. Take the good with the bad, I suppose.
Thank you for working the polls!
My state’s elections aren’t until next week. I feel vaguely ill with nerves.
In other news, I’ve harvested most of the potatoes I planted earlier this year. Only one plant hasn’t died yet, so waiting and hoping that the taters get larger. My strawberry plants’ leaves keep dying and I’m not sure why. I’m ot a very good gardener, more of an enthusiastic amateur.
Woke up with migraine for absolutely no reason. Other than that, the day is just starting so the possibilities are… mid.
Worst way to wake up. Hope you’ll feel better soon.
Thank you. I’ve been dealing with migraines for a long time. I know the drill, I have good meds, it should pass.
Migraines fucking suck.
It is Weds my dude
You are correct. It is fixed!
Bonus I am on call again. So you know, might get weird.
I don’t, new here. how can it get weird?
I get stressed out and grumpy. Usually there is a lot of lack of sleep.
Good luck. I used to have a rotating shift for on call support. One week every five weeks. It was painful. Now I’m always on call, but the plant is so chill that I very rarely get called.
That’s what I’m on now. It was every nine weeks when I first started. But you know how that goes.
