No you don’t, you just have to be smarter than those students, and that’s not hard, because they’re stupid. If they’re outpacing you, you just downshift to a lower grade, until you find the grade level where you’re smarter than most.

And for the kids that are smarter than you, you just bully them until they shut up, or transfer to a different school.

If you don’t show up to defend yourself in court, then the other side gets to tell their story, and the judge has no choice but to find for them, since the defendant didn’t defend themselves.

When I was a kid, my grandpa sold souvenirs at fairs to supplement his retirement, and he was at the NY State Fair every year, right at the opening to the Midway. That was where they plunked the first dunk tank that anyone had every seen.

I spent the fair that year watching this mean clown insult everybody, trying to make them mad so they’d throw wildly. He was great at it, and I saw many an angry guy try to teach that clown a lesson for humiliating them in front of their girl.

That clown was also viciously racist, so when you mentioned the dunk tank, all I could imagine was the Pope screaming crazy racist stuff to get people to throw shit at him.

What outsiders don’t understand is that Americans are raised on tales of revolution, overthrowing the mightiest military on the face of the Earth. Once we start a revolution, it will never end until it succeeds.

In most countries, what happens in the capitol decides it. If there’s a massive protest, and tanks crush it, then it’s over. But if tanks crush the massive protest in DC, it will just cause larger, more violent protests in NYC, Chicago, LA, and EVERY OTHER CITY IN AMERICA. The moment that MAGA orders the military to fire on protesting American citizens, every MAGA politician’s life goes on a very short clock, and every government building will burn. They will all be dead within a month.

Americans have been socialized to be kind and empathetic, and even be polite to MAGA, who are the worst people on the planet, so we’re obeying the rules, and trying to get through this with our elections.

But it is a very bad idea to mistake kindness for weakness. If MAGA pushes people like that over the line, past their breaking point, the backlash is going to be far more severe than they expect.

Remember when Trump said that nobody expected Iran to fire back? Yes they did, and we all told him they would. But he ignored everybody’s advice, and was surprised at the obvious result. When he fires on American citizens (and he will fire on American citizens, it’s as inevitable as starting a war always was), he’s going to be very surprised when we punch back, and start killing all of his accomplices.

There’s about a 50-50 chance this ends with a French Revolution-style party, and just yesterday Trump said he didn’t care if people can’t afford gas. That was his “Let Them Eat Cake” moment, but he is too virtuosically ignorant to understand where that leads.

That’s particularly evil. No matter what their lame rationalizations will be, this is how we know that they created this tech in bad faith, and they intend to use it in bad faith.

In some countries, they’ve made it illegal to turn off the shutter sound on your camera, so that women can hear the sound when some pervert is trying to take upskirts.

Putting a recording light on the glasses does basically the same thing, by alerting those around them. It wouldn’t be hard to disable it, though.

They also hired a new CFO for $28 million.

When the MAGA Messiah was in exile during the Biden years, they hoped he’d come back, but didn’t fully believe it, so they pivoted to making him a religious icon, something the mainstream media mostly ignored.

Traitor General Michael Flynn operated a travelling roadshow of speakers, called the Re-Awaken America Tour (wouldn’t that make it Woke?), a rotating slate of conservative and evangelical speakers. The constant thread through all of it was Trump’s divinity.

All of the MAGA All-Stars spoke at one time or another, including Trump himself, but Lara Trump, Eric’s wife, was a regular. In her speech, Lara claimed that she was in regular, DIRECT contact with God, and he TOLD her that he had personally appointed Trump to be his chosen emissary on Earth, to lead America into its Christian future. Trump never paid much attention to Lara before, but he was so pleased with her efforts on the tour, that he made her chairman of the RNC.

Then he stole the presidency again, and the Prophet talk cooled down for a while. Now that things are heating up for him again, the religious talk is ramping up again. Some will back off if they think he’s doing God’s work. You don’t want interrupt God.

When he’s finally out, expect them to make hard pivot to religion this time. It will partially to discourage prosection - “You can’t prosecute a man of God!” - but mostly it will be about money.

A politician has a lot of regulations to deal with to collect money, but a religion has no rules. You can take as much money as you want, from any source in the world. There are literally no restrictions. Even better, there are no taxes, and no reporting of your revenues to anybody. It’s the perfect cover for a money launderer, which is Trump’s primary occupation.

When he is out, and struggling to stave off prosecution from every direction, expect him to start screaming for the Christians to save him from legal martyrdom by atheist Liberals! And also expect that many of them will buy it.

I tend to face away while soaping up, and I face the water when I’m rinsing off. I also shave in the shower, and I do that facing away.

Anyone who works a job they hate for a boss they hate, for not enough money, is the same as any prostitute. They should stop being so judgemental.

And if my flashing lights slow down somebody, so they don’t get a ticket, then it’s a great outcome for everybody but the cops.

Besides, nobody’s getting actively killed in my example, stop being so dramatic. I’m just flashing my lights in the neighborhood to alert my neighbor, and save him a ticket. That’s who I owe my loyalty to, not the cops.

Obviously, if it’s the guy who is always speeding through the neighborhood, I’m going to let that guy blow on past the cop. They deserve each other.

Valid, human-owned businesses are safe. Corporations are fair game, fuck’em up.
