Deleted my Google account once the degoogle of my phone was complete. I dropped 100% of who I followed. Sometimes they still come up in the DuckDuckGo screen and I watch them through there and if they move to any other platform I’ll consider it. Maybe.
But I’d rather they moved to Peertube and setup a funding method.

sadly there is no money in peertube, google has legacy and they exposure to a wide audience.
Career youtubers all supplement their income with sponsorship and ads, which is still available if they were to also publish to PeerTube.
that is true, but YT has the audience numbers and potential sponsorships., peer tube is too unknown
