To a very limited degree, you get a little more ‘respect’, but it’s often fake and fragile. Otherwise, nothing… body starts degrading and it’s all down-hill.
The respect thing confused me so much. Then realizing the wrong response is to list all the ways you are not worthy of the respect or confidence that is placed in you.

The biggest thing I’ve noticed is people now angrily demand that I give them my money or I’m a selfish asshole or I’m cheap.
Nobody was telling me that at 30. It’s so weird to have people just demand you give them money.
Like sometimes I just want a salad lady, I’m not going to order the lobster just so your tip is fatter. I don’t even enjoy lobster or steak or other super pricey plates.
