Learn how to deal with people.
No matter what you do in life you have to deal with people in some way. Even if they are paid to do what you tell them it’s a huge difference if they put your request on the top or bottom of their pile.

That is correct, but the same crowd is unlikely to pay attention in any other class either. They were given the opportunity to learn and if they choose to not pay attention that is their choice.
