I wouldn’t recommend it, because its an asshole move, but go into basically any mcdonalds and complain that you placed an order and it was missing (whatever you want). You may have to act the cunt here. They will just give you whatever you want for free. Sometimes you may need to escalate to a manager. They do not get paid enough to deal with it, and dont want your negativity affecting the other customers.
I only blocked one person so far, mostly I just tag people instead of blocking them. A lot of times when you get attacked its just somebody super passionately defending whatever it is, or mistaking your innocent question for the opening salvo of bad faith arguments.
If i see a tagged guy causing chaos every time I see them I’d probably block them.
Not for about 2 years, and it was only because I was in a carpool situation at my old job so local radio stopped any potential bitching.
Like everything, it depends. But probably not, theres too much aggro around that sort of thing since it turned into a political football.
If I properly loved them then sure I’d put up with it, and learn all about it, but I dont relish the idea of drawing heat from bigots everywhere I go, and would rather not.

My assumption for why people prefer it is because its more intuitive. You just ask the computer. Its like asking someone on the street. You can use sentences and descriptive language and you’ll get an answer that basically walks you through the steps as if it was a person explaining it to you.
You’re describing the uncanny valley where if something looks and behaves human, but isnt, you get the creeps. Its fun to freak yourself out by thinking “why are we so fundamentally afraid of something that looks like us but isnt? What could there have been?”
Oh yeah its easy to prove you wrong but its likely they wont bother. They can look up on the till to see the time you claim to have placed an order, and maybe they’ll see an order similar to your claim, then explain to the manager and both go to the office and use the CCTV to see if youre there and then try and explain that to an angry guy who seems like theyre about to pop off and risk needing to involve the police and involve the local papers while everyone’s getting their phones ready for twitter and reddit to dissect your every microexpression - OR they can just give you a double cheeseburger and be done with it.
