  • I want to add an additional point or two; unlike Reddit, people generally don’t care about karma (total up votes aren’t really counted and some instances don’t even do downvotes, etc) so even if we were mainstream you won’t see much karma farming. People post genuinely, although it might just be a dudes memes on their phone, etc.

Another is regarding the culture, as you may still get banned from specific instances. For instance, there are tankies (authoritarian communists) in places we mostly defederated from that ban you if you criticize the Chinese government or even North Korea (!). World, a typical go to for Redditors, tends to be center left but had their own controversial moments. Personally I don’t mind their defederation choices except I have to use another instance to access pro-piracy stuff (which div0 folks have the best of).

  • I drink it with milk but my wife is lactose intolerant so she has it with oat. She prefers it to almond and soy milk, however there are vast differences between brands and types.

If you want to try something genuinely competitive, I found the “barista” Oatley to be very good. Typically if it’s marketed for barista use, it’s thick and uses a different binding that works better in coffee. It’s not good for cereal and stuff, though, it often feels like drinking half and half. Lol

  • Yes, I read that but how? We 100% should be more concerned with fed implementation than what states were doing, as I’m betting it’s going to be as stupid as UKs approach to app based verification.

I’m not sure they could even do that in a reasonable way when there are use cases like offline installs, no cameras, etc, but given Windows requires hoops to jump to avoid getting an MS account, that’s probably not going to be a concern of theirs (as Congress is exceptionally inept). At least the CA law seems to consider that, given it’s just self report.
