Yeah consider phlebas is good with context but it isn’t really a “culture” novel in the way that the others are. I think my favourites are excession and matter but the others are good too.

I wouldn’t say it’s “conduiting” or whatever. I visualise stuff and then take a whole pile of steps to turn that into something. Sometimes it’s like an epiphany but I’m not of the belief that it’s something just being inserted into my mind.

Yeah I grabbed a… Mele quieter or something back in November to replace the noisy greenpower thing I’d had for about 2 years and I got a bit more back than what I spent on it, looking at the mele tiny pc today and it’s doubled in price since I got it. So far it’s been nice though, passive cooling unlike the noisy fan on the other one.
