Interesting… didn’t know that existed. Will have to check them out. And yeah, i should have pointed out they may be too expensive to be used for harder labor, they’re just the ones i’ve owned that have held up the longest so they came to mind.

Any brand that uses Japanese selvage in the heavier weights lasts ages. Take a while to break in and are $$$, though.
One thing that makes them last longest is washing gently and only when necessary. Tumble dryers and fabric softeners plus dryer sheets accelerate wear drastically. I have a couple pairs from Naked and Famous that are roughly a decade old with no tears or holes.
Otherwise like mentioned here: canvas pants or the firehose material ones from Duluth last a long time too. Much easier to maintain and handle frequent washing more readily.

37·4 days agoThis… I remember one of our neighbors finally letting their homeschooled kid go to public school and play with us. We had to teach him how to run. I remember my young mind being baffled by this. He was incredibly naïve and overly trusting so he got bullied mercilessly and beat up at recess. His mother did him no favors by being really nasty with us when we went over to take him fishing, exploring, etc. We moved away and i wonder what happened to him… he was a gentle soul.

Worst comes to worst you can fill it from the dipstick
Going by all the hacky looking fixes, it may have snapped off or been removed for some reason. I’d rustle around those hoses in that area to see if you can at least see the valve cover and feel around for an opening.
Usually on the top left near that jumble of hoses where the valve cover is, there is a filler neck sticking out. I can’t see it in this picture though.

Enlightenment was always intriguing to me but man was it buggy and a hog on my “i found this lil guy in a skid” class computers. Has it gotten better ?
