I think AI is a huge red herring for a lot of the massive layoffs we have seen. this is class warfare masquerading as a technological shift. I dont trust for a second most of these CEOs believe what they are saying (the dumbs ones for sure do).

I think the “open source” in FOSS is exactly what you look for. there is a software and it’s source code is open and free to use. it says nothing about community, build system, infra, etc.

it’s the opposite. plugin hybrid have consistently been demonstrated to be way less efficient than advertised. (in part because of how they works in part because of how people use them)
