Why not just use GrapheneOS? The only unique feature this phone has is the physical battery kill switch.

15·23 days agoI’m pretty sure mastodon has a copyleft licence meaning that it can be used for commercial use but the updated software also needs to maintain the same licence. That’s why I chose the word “stole”. They’re not honouring the licence so it’s stolen.

100% with VPN services you’re shifting the trust, not removing the trust. And sorry, I just meant that as a general comment, I didn’t think you were implying that the UP phone’s implementation was inherently secure.
