Never played too many party based fantasy RPGs growing up, but I got into Baldur’s Gate 3 and bard is absolutely the greatest! I feel like I have the most control over a situation in or outside of combat. Swiss Army Knife of the Party is the best way to put it lol

Idk if I’d say a baby crying because it’s hungry is a display of selfishness. It’s the only way they can communicate, and they aren’t able to help themselves. I will say however that I don’t think selfishness is inherently a bad thing and many people if not everyone does display some form of it.

That works well enough to deter thieves from stealing your packages. But not so useful when you wake up to find a hit and run driver clipped your parked car over night.

That’s a strange take. If you wake up tomorrow and the price of groceries go up 200% would you just say “people are freaking out that paid food is paid”?
