You can probably buy the extended filler cap. They should just thread in where your current oil cap goes.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•How does one get started with the *arr stack?English
2·2 days agoI haven’t really been in the music game for a long time either with streaming being so easy and most torrent sites not offering much, but I did try SoulSeek out and it was super nice for acquiring new music. I have not tried the integration with Lidarr, but I think that would make it excellent.

27·2 days agoYou should be able to find tutorials on YouTube or follow the TRaSH guide. You don’t need to expose this stuff to the internet, only your download client like Qbittorrent. For movies and TV, all you’d need is a download client + VPN, sonarr (TV), radarr (movies), Prowlarr (handles indexers/trackers), and possibly Jellyseer for requests from you or those you share with in a single UI. There are other *arrs for music (Lidarr), books, porn, etc too. Lidarr can integrate with SoulSeek if thats what you’re using to fill content for Navidrome, but you would use Jellyfin as the media player.
Yes they’ll integrate well with Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin. You just paste API keys from one to another to allow them to communicate.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Has anyone ever accepted an offer from one of those "we buy your house, no questions asked" companies? If so, what was your experience? [Answered]
2·3 days agoI havent seen that but I have seen several examples out of Texas (youtube news segments) where someone straight up forges sale documents, demolishes the house, and then the property rapidly changes hands between shell companies before landing in the portfolio of a developer.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which one is more annoying: leftover bread or leftover cheese?
2·4 days agoIt seems improbable that you would get down to just a few pieces of bread and cheese and not notice the disparity unless you have some magic sack containing bread and cheese without the ability to see inside like some monkey’s paw wish.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which one is more annoying: leftover bread or leftover cheese?
3·4 days agoI think it would actually be the opposite because leftover cheese means you could have previously just made a sandwich with extra cheese but now you’re stuck with cheese and no bread. Leftover bread is no big deal because you can just toss it without a care or have some fun feeding wild birds which means it can’t be the worse option.

4·4 days agoI checked my receipts and the used 14TB WD Ultrastars I’ve been buying from ServerPartDeals are about $100 more per drive than when I bought them last year. My number was around $12/TB for those and all the shucked WD Elements drives I’d been buying in the years prior.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•How can I stop Red PETG from being *too* Transparent on a Top Surface?English
3·5 days agoTo continue using the filament you have, you’ll need more top layers as suggested already. The other alternative is to buy a different brand of red PETG with lower light transmission.
I mostly print in PLA, but there are some brands that are almost translucent while others are opaque after a 0.2mm layer or two and this is all just basic color PLA not anything fancy like silk or the like.
Also you might try lowering the infill. 100% is typically pretty excessive for strength purposes (60-70% is enough) and ironing the top surfaces might help reduce the amount of sanding needed.

0·5 days agoCurious if you use a Pi and had the stick connected directly? I don’t recall the exact issue or configuration but I know some of these sticks (possibly ZWave) work better when connected through a USB cable rather than directly to the Pi. I’ve got both of mine connected through a 1m USB cable and separated a bit to prevent interference.
