  • I don’t feel like arguing so, today, I’m just here to see who worships/follows Khorne (imperialists, “might makes right/fuck you I got mine/survival of the fittest!!!” freaks), Slaanesh (druggie hedonists, sex addicts and “nothing matters but my dakis and miniatures” folks), Nurgle (lethargic nihilists who spread the “rot” and push others into the same hole) or Tzeentch (dishonest, conniving people who think they’re smarter than God, and for those reasons they probably won’t admit to it here, lol).

    😁

  • Prosociality/“goodness”, like everyone else.

But in particular: I’m a judgemental (not negative or positive, I’m just always making “judgments” which I often communicate) but at the same time easy going (except when I feel in danger and my anger issues/childhood trauma show their ugly heads!), empathetic and sentimental procrastinator who is mostly detached from desire of material possessions (I didn’t make myself, I just am that way, and it certainly makes life easier since wanting little means I always live within my means, lol).

  • Depends on both the person asking (whether they’re obviously “good vibes” or not, if they just seem curious and appreciative or simply trying to connect with you [“oh, I went to X some years ago, it was lovely, and this person seems like a native from there, that’s a good conversation starter, right?” - mental process]) and the person being asked (if they’re withdrawn/afraid of people and suspect foul play/bad intentions or not, or if they’ve had many impasses with racist people, for instance).

  • We are who we choose to be, and if you have been nothing but sociopathically antisocial all this time, I’m not gonna expect you to randomly change your mind… and I can safely call you an “evil person”. Evil because they decided to be so, and I’m just labelling this person’s most salient characteristic, not saying they were born that way or whatever, ofc not. People are malleable on paper but for pragmatic reasons at some point (specially if you’re old) I assume you’re stuck in your ways and no words will make you turn it around, and as such you can warrant the static “evil” label.

  • This is just the classic “let’s leave it up in the air so nobody gets judged because I wouldn’t like it either!” Western laissez-faire mentality that stops any thorough moral analysis. I’ll only accept it if it’s coming from a Cartesian “I think therefore I am and I can’t say anything else about anything with certainty”, if not it’s just moral permissiveness/intellectual laziness. Not everyone can just be “talked into sanity” and prosociality, many people have chosen their paths and as such can only go one way, in this world or the next. Can we make that final judgment, unbiasedly and accurately? No, but that’s reality, we can still acknowledge they’ve crossed enough thresholds and seem unrepentant enough that, for all intents and purposes, we can reasonably consider this person “evil” and, more importantly, just antisocial and dangerous enough to either lock up and ostracise.

In the real world with real means, do you think you could talk Trump out of touching kids and gambling the lives of many for the sake of personal profit? Satanyahu to stop colonizing West Asia? Do you think you could stop a rapist while he’s at it with the words of Jesus or Muhammad? Come on, now.

  • You could serve a million years but if you don’t regret it (if what you did was morally wrong and you got locked up for good reasons, many people are not, sadly) then what “fresh start” is possible?

Maybe they just got abused by their parents so heavily they were pushed into this, and that’s understandable, but in other cases I don’t think that spending time locked up necessarily means you’re a different person who “deserves” a chance to have a normal life, it all depends on how you processed things.

  • “Best of intentions”

My man, you joined the military, not a bakery. And if you joined the American one, even if you’ve only had a diet of strict pro-Western imperialism propaganda, you KNOW you’re signing up to kill. And they don’t “have your ass” as much as God does, and whatever punishment they would’ve gotten is certainly not as bad as Hell, but these people don’t believe in anything in earnest.

  • Respectfully, wtf is “food culture”? Is the fascination with taking food pics for Insta and going to popular restaurants you see on TikTok that have great decor and selfie backgrounds? I think it’s ridiculously performative and for silly people.

If you meant “what are your hot takes about food?”, then idk, I think I have pretty lukewarm ones, lol (“Chinese > Italian > Indian” for popular cuisines around the world, for instance).

  • Another lemming posted some data already but I guess, intuitively, it makes sense: no responsibilities and usually taken care of -> some responsibilities without the PFC/maturity necessary to handle them efficiently but you still somewhat prioritise and have time for fun-> even larger responsibilities (usually caring for other people as well, like children and parents) but with enough maturity to handle them without needing to focus on youthful hedonism -> fewer responsibilities but still mature and now probably in a better financial position, and you can already be satisfied with your lot in life and what you’ve done with it -> little to no responsibilities and you’re usually taken care of.

  • Idk but I feel like anime really peaked between the late 80s and late 00s, both stylistically and content-wise. Even the wackier concepts were done well/with love, but it’s been at least a couple of decades that it all feels undercooked and shows that get massive praise today would’ve been at most Claymore-tier had they come out a couple of decades ago. AOT, an undercooked Code Geass, is a good example of this, IMO.
