Open source? I mean, you could try finding language partners here on lemmy. Maybe make a language exchange community if there isnt one already?

HelloTalk and Tandem are the two largest language exchange platforms I know of, but they arent open source. If you insist on open source, you might find some somewhat funtional but dead platforms - open source platforms tend to suffer from being on the shit end of the network effects stick.
