I know it’s been asked too much, but we’ve come a long way. Curious to see everything from the fullest trajectories/journeys to short wacky simples.

Why your instance, platform? What keeps you there? Are you a piefed PWA enjoyer? A traditional browser lemmy diehard? Do you refuse to use any front-end that isn’t blorpblorp or has some invaluable feature like tesseract/alexandrite? I think there are even a few who only mobile voyager or ??(whatever that other popular one is…apollo maybe?) Curious to know what future options lie on the near future’s horizon too

I admit I have trialed many but go back to plain browser more than not tho 😆

PS: I can’t remember if these posts in anyway get federated out to other platforms like mastodon or what not, but would still be interested in their respective answers too

    sh.itjust.works here. I like trying different things. As you may have guessed from my username, this is my 3rd incarnation.

    My first one was .ml solely because it was high on the popularity list. Didn’t know what I was getting into, and I didn’t stay for long.

    Second one was feddit.nl, and it was alright. Some people kept assuming I was Dutch, but I’ve been called worse things, so idc.

    For no particular reason I decided to move again, and I ended up on SJW after someone recommended it. My only real requirement for my next instance was that I refuse to activate my account via email. The admins were nice enough to activate my account manually after I proved that I wasn’t a bot. Plus I guess having a post history documenting that I’m not that much of a scumbag helps.

    I’ve been here pretty long now, and I guess it’s time to instance hop again, but I have no real reason to, and to be frank, I’m not sure I can be arsed setting up my filters and blocks again.
