Either the 80s or the 90s. Like 85-95 is where all the modern classics like TMNT, GI Joe, and Transformers started.
Even the bulk of failed shows that got 6-13 episodes in one season were fucking dope as shit in that time period. Maybe the key to great cartoons really is just making them long-form ads for toys, cuz since they made that illegal we barely get really good cartoons… 🤷♂️
