Yeah, I just say I can’t watch this video when someone sends me a link. It does make you less social though. People just think you’re weird, people with “I have nothing to hide” mentality is so common. And people that say “I don’t care about politics”, or “we don’t discuss politics here” in friend groups, and start excluding you because you speak on these things.
Don’t be so desperate to watch a video to pay with personal information to this degree.
I am sure there’s exceptions, but refusal should be the norm. At least on YouTube and other non-essential services.
