Yes, change requires changing, sometimes reform needs to happen as well. I agree that democrats are, on many issues, what republicans should be right now. They are conservative and do not represent most of the country very well. They still dont want to abuse, torture, and send people to death camps. Oh, and Im sure voting against a rapist was hard.
Voting against someone as opposed to for someone is awful and definitely does result in a slide to the right. Saying it cant be overcome or being very negative about it does nothing.

No, that was the easy part. Having to constantly tell centrists that I voted for harris because they dismiss all criticism of the party as disloyalty or trump support or being a russian bot or whatever they’ve imagined because they can’t imagine valid criticism existing, now that’s the challenging bit.
