I’m not saying it isn’t true. I’m saying the message is harmful to progress. It’s calling splitting hairs.

If you don’t want people saying that the party betrays voters, the party needs to stop betraying voters. Don’t blame people for noticing repeated betrayal.

It’s the same as people saying “Democrats were the confederates”

Except democrats are no longer the confederates.
