Cursive is faster (and more comfortable) than printing.
But that assumes that you’re handwriting in the first place.
Typing is faster than cursive, and many people who work a lot with text can just type any substantial amounts of text that they want to write.
It’s faster but harder to read. Maybe that’s arguable with some people’s handwriting. But with many people their cursive is harder to read, and it’s definitely so with my shitty penmanship.
