Took these a few years ago on the hunt for alligators. Didn’t get any alligators but these guys provided a pretty good show. Not sure if they were playing, fighting or, as someone suggested, this was a prelude to making more buns.

Oh that’s a fighting stance! Buns lunge and jump over each other in a fight. If they get a good grab with their teeth, they will flop over and try to disembowel their opponent with their strong hind legs. I saw my old boy bun try to do something similar to my old girl bun before they were bonded.

Bunnies are adorably sweet and usually docile/skittish creatures, but they can defend themselves if necessary.
