    finally ? this was under discussion back when I lived in Cambodge in 2010 and 2011

    edit: no different project, the one that was mooted back then was a hydro dam only, i. the same.area thiugh,.so perhaps tjat projext morphed into this

    instead of building that stupid express way,they should have upgraded the rail line (buikt by Australia afaik) and taken the zillion trucks off the riad to lessen demand for diesel.

    Even now they have that ridiculous canal planned, going from near Kep up to Phnom Penh onto the Mekong.
