yeah, there it is. there is a reason one of the sides is saying voting doesn’t work, and you described it yourself.
socialism is not an electoralist ideology, and the ones saying it is might be lying to you about being on the left. for those same reasons.
There’s never ideal candidates, you only ever get to nudge… and even that should only be one part of altering society and culture.
a small part, only limited nudging allowed this way. politics is thankfully much more than that.
