Honestly? Fake it till you make it. Has worked for me, especially if imposter syndrome kicks in. That’s what most people are doing anyway, they just don’t think about it.

Agreed. Explaining the risks has always worked better for me than explaining the benefits. Most companies only care about their bottom line.

2·10 days agoVivaldi has been a good middle ground for me. Privacy respecting but still has features I want. It’s not perfect, but nothing is.


Honestly? It’s highly individualized.
The best one is probably one that you already use and care about, and want to improve.
Choosing some random project will not really provide motivation in learning the code base, figuring out how to implement a change, etc.
