That’s because having tons of money is the only proven way to not have a crappy life in the USA. All the public services and citizen protections are undergoing rapid disassembly, without which one wrong move can put you on the street.

1·8 months agoIf you’re running it in a prebuilt container, as long as it works it shouldn’t matter and you don’t need to care.
Of course, when your database gets corrupted after Nextcloud updates because you had an app running that isn’t supported in the new version, it will suddenly matter a lot.

1·9 months agoI bailed when they started banning people for upvoting Luigi content. I’d already drastically reduced my usage when the appocalypse happened and RIF no longer worked, but that level of panopticon shit was too much.
God, I wish life could go back to boring in the USA.
