That’s a burly down tube. I wonder if it will smash legs like the Lime bikes.
I have a similarly thick bike (Ride1up Portola) and that has not been an issue for me. I don’t imagine it would be a problem with this one either.
But I may have just found my ideal commuter bike: the Velotric Discover M. It’s comfortable, it has a great combination of components, and it comes in at just under $2,500.
I like my Ride1up Portola: It’s capable, but can still be reasonably compact, and can even serve as a mini cargo bike. Got it for $950 too.
That’s a good price for a mid-drive
