    agreed and so annoying. Its kinda par for the course for illinois. We legalized weed but no private plant growing is allowed. Only buy from corps.

      Private growing is allowed for home use; there is some limit on how many you can have nope, you were right. Registered medical patients only

          That’s unfortunate, though it appears the punishment for being caught growing up to 5 plants for recreation is pretty minor, at least according to this site.

          However, the reality for the average citizen is less severe than it sounds. For recreational growers, cultivating five plants or fewer is classified as a civil violation—similar to a speeding ticket—punishable by a fine of roughly $200, rather than jail time. With cannabis now rescheduled as a Schedule III substance federally, the legal atmosphere is softening further, moving away from harsh penalties.

          The penalties do increase if you’re found with more plants though, with anything over 5 plants crossing over into a felony.

            yeah I don’t go speeding just because im in a hurry. Again its very illinois. Better than nothing but bs as its about propping up the business side rather over individual rights. Its funny I love my state and how it does things but only because things are really effed. If you dropped us in europe as a country we would be meh.
